What is a “Saved” (Tokenized) Card?

When you choose to save a card at checkout, our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway replaces your card number with a secure token. This token can be used for future payments on Pottli Store — your full card details are not stored on our servers.

  • Your card number, expiry, and CVV are never visible to us.
  • Each token is unique to your card + our website.
  • For every payment, you still authenticate via OTP/3-D Secure when required.

How to View / Remove a Saved Card

  1. Go to My Account and sign in with your registered email/phone.
  2. Open Payment Methods (or Saved Cards).
  3. To remove a card, click Delete / Remove next to the card you no longer want to keep.
  4. If you don’t see a card listed, it may be stored with the gateway. Use “Remove” when shown at checkout or contact support to request deletion.

Note: Removing a tokenized card does not cancel any active subscriptions/EMIs associated with your bank; manage those with your bank if applicable.

Security & Privacy

  • Payments are processed via leading PCI-DSS compliant gateways with SSL encryption.
  • We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI PINs on Pottli Store.
  • For certain transactions, you may be asked to re-enter CVV/OTP as an extra security step.
  • You can choose not to save a card at checkout — this is optional.

Can I checkout without saving a card? Yes. Saving a card is optional and only for faster future payments.
How do I delete a saved card? Go to My Account → Payment Methods and click Remove. You can also delete during checkout if the gateway shows your tokenized card.
Is my CVV stored? No. CVV is never stored. You may be asked to re-enter CVV/OTP for security.
Who holds my card token? The payment gateway securely stores the token as per regulations; Pottli Store does not hold raw card data.
Can I add more than one card? Yes, you can save multiple cards and select one during checkout.

FAQs

Why don’t I see my previously saved card?

Saved cards are tied to your login and gateway token. If you used a different account, changed your number, or the token expired, the card may not appear. You can save it again during your next payment.

Can support delete my saved card for me?

We can raise a deletion request with the payment gateway for the token linked to your account. For account verification, please email from your registered email ID with your last order ID.

Will deleting a card affect my ongoing order?

No. Deleting a saved card only removes it for future use. It won’t change an order that’s already paid.
